The box works.........however, tails could have been a bit longer, in no way is this thing water resistant, or dust resistant, so make sure it is mounted in a non-weather exposed spot, preferably inside the car. I mounted my under the hood and after one rain storm it was wet inside. This is not a mystery as there are no seals what so ever on the wire loom or lid. If water is present, it's getting in. Also, the fuses were pretty much junk and all needed to be replaced. Have not had a problem with the relays yet. Sum up: it's a cheap & quick way to add a few relays, but will most likely fail from heat, moisture or dirt intrusion if mounted under the hood.

Nice unit for the price. Haven’t installed yet but looks good for the intended application. It will be controlling dual Electric cooling fans and 2 other relay required automotive devices. We’ll see how it performs.

Very sturdy build and quality of assembly. Very easy to understand wiring. However the lid was broken upon removing from package.

It's pretty well packaged and easy to wire. I wish instead of a terminal they had some sort of screw-on butt connector as it is unlikely you are going to just make this short wire reach any sort of terminal and you will have to use a power wire extension to the battery. Also wish they had one with relays that had diodes as I had to purchase those separately. But overall, pretty happy though I did break off a tab slightly on the bottom panel trying to double check their wiring. Not enough of a problem to knock down a star but I also wanted to tuck in their wire protector inside the plastic so it wouldn't wonder off higher on the wires.

You won’t be impressed by the quality, as the plastic isn’t very thick and it certainly isn’t water proof. However, for the price I think it’s great. I mounted both the box and a 250 amp bus bar (also from Amazon) to a piece of stainless sheet metal and made a functional power distribution box. It will keep the mud and other debris out and is far better than mounting exposed relays and inline fuses everywhere.I purchased the wire yourself version and as others have said there are just enough connectors for all slots, so take your time. The orientation of the connectors is important as well. They must engage the plastic prong in the slot otherwise, they will push out the bottom when you put in a fuse or relay. If inserted properly the connectors remain secure.Lastly the fuses that come with the boxes are suspect. I quickly blew two of the included 30 amp fuses after getting it all set up. Wasted about an hour rechecking all the wiring (thinking I messed up), before going to autozone and purchasing some more 30ampFuses. With the new fuses everything worked as advertised.The supplied 30 amp fuses seemed to blow around 25 amps. No problems with the relays so far.Bottom line: It enables a tidy wiring solution, provides some protection and is inexpensive. I would buy another.

This item almost perfectly met my requirements. Great instructions & easy to fit. It has cleaned up my wiring & grouped all my fuses & relays in one spot. The only negative is that it’s a bit hard to remove the relays as they are quite close together. I would recommend this product.

Received this product, and spent a few days doing wiring, crimping connectors, pinning the relay box and fuse panel. Went to install relays and they push all the pins out the back. Had to flip the box over and install every single terminal individually into the pins. The pins provided with the kit are ok quality, but you dont get any extras. Been a mechanic for 20 years, and never had this much trouble assembling a relay/fuse panel. I guess you get what you pay for.After a while i was able to get all the relays installed with all the terminals properly seated, but if I ever have to remove a relay to test or replace, ill have to remove the entire panel, flip it over, remove the rear cover and put the pins in the relays manually one by one.This relay panel does a nice job of cleaning up wires for multiple accessories but there exist much better quality relay panels that wont require you to disassemble the relay box every time you want to replace a blown fuse or a faulty relay

First off is the unit that I got does not match the picture of the description. As others noted it actually has six Bosch five pin relays with no 4 pin. They relay mounting surface on the unit that I received had a closed face (individual snap in relay mounts in a plastic frame) and was a nicer part than pictured.What I really liked is that the contacts are all 0.36 mm thick material, instead of the more typical 0.28mm contacts you buy in kits. The thicker contacts do increase the face needed to insert the relays, but is helpful to insure a good connection on high current, large gauge wires.I would recommend using the supplied contacts just on the power switching connections and substitute regular terminals on the connections to the relay coils. Using all thick contacts makes swapping relays more difficult than it needs to be. It also lets you keep a few spare "good" contacts if you make a mistake.I made one small improvement to the design by adding a wire guide that fits helps to align wires to the box. The helps keep the wires from twisting the contacts in the box. This seemed to really help when using stiff 12 AWG wire. The unit works either way.Overall, I was very happy with the product.I attached a screenshot of the wire guide I 3D printed.

I purchased this relay assembly to use in my new to me class C RV. When I gutted the rv I saw how terrible the low voltage wiring is. So many sloppy connections stacked on each wire. To me a fire hazard. So I will correct these problems using this relay assembly and with common buss bars thru-out rv. It's a good idea to have control circuit turning on/off for the main 12vdc in rv. It's much safer to me.
