I still cannot understand how these little devils work, but they are consistent and reliable. I purchased a replacement for DanFoss thermostatic valves I installed twenty years ago. God, I feel old.The only reason I had to replace this one was that my idiot son destroyed the original valve when he dropped a desk on the valve when he was moving his furniture. You should see my wall.This valve is built as beefy as the original, it looks nice and it is a snap to replace onto the existing valve body.Great product that keeps the heat perfectly regulated on every radiator. I would not consider any other type of valve

Replacing the original, broken operator was very easy. Adjusting the temperature on my radiator is even easier. Plan to update all my radiators with newer operators as soon as possible.
