Your cart is empty.This base plate is pre-drilled to fit the Ridgid R2401 and Ridgid R86044 Palm Routers or the Ryobi P601 cordless compact router. It's designed to help wood sign carvers to maintain better control of the router for finer detail carving in graphics and text. Each base is laser cut from clear 1/4 inch cast acrylic so you get a clear view of what you're cutting or carving. Overall measurement is 5" x 7.5". The center hole is 1.75" in diameter for better visibility. NOTE: The oversized hole will NOT accept "template guides". Each base comes with the handles attached. In most cases they are not made to work with factory made dust extraction ports.

This base is awesome. It really makes router carving east and helps control the router with the handles. I've learned so much from your videos also. I have another for the dewalt trim router. I recently discovered that it has the same bolt pattern as my Hercules trim router. Keep up the good work and thank you.

This is for Ryobi P601 router:Original holes are counterbore, 4.2mm.Holes in Dave's base are countersink, 5.6mm.Base can be used with countersink screws (M4), but the connection is a lot weaker than on the original base plate.

I received what I expected, a larger Rigid router baseplate for use on mortise templates. It fit perfectly, is an ideal size; I refer to as midsize, and the knob handles are a nice feature.

Sure makes it easier to hold onto that small palm router. The bigger the base, the more stable.The clear plastic is thick and sturdy. I like this product, very handy indeed.

This is a good product for its designed I love it I just wished I used it more because I'm not a full-time Carpenter but it did do the job of what I wanted.

I love using this base! It makes it so much easier to follow patterns. It would be fairly simple to make one on my own, but supplies alone would be near twice the price. This is a must for anyone learning to free hand signs or carve.

Good base and convenient size. Mine broke when dropped (just the base, no router attached) on the floor. Lesson: don't drop base on floor. This clear plastic is not as strong as the opaque plastics commonly used in power tools and hand tool handles.
