So, I looked at DD Tarp 7-8 years ago and decided to buy a cheap tarp instead. After 6-8 tarps of mediocre quality, I got a couple really high quality tarps. I got Etowa, Dutchware, Aquaquest tarps and learned what a real tarp was capable of doing. Those real tarps, not cheap junk, and they are fantastic! This DD tarp is MAYBE a touch above those tarps. Super quality, seam sealed, lots of tie-outs make this tarp super versatile. I can pitch in a bunch of ways and not worry about being sheltered. 5 Stars. If you’re on the fence, remember this: buy good once, buy cheap a lot.

Overhyped. Not enough tie outs to get the maximum utility and variety of tarp pitches. I would more highly recommend the one from Alton Goods. More tie outs and reenforcing, better value and only a few bucks more.

I use this for bushcraft and it works really well, you can make alot of different set-ups with the available loops. It will however pick up alot of "smoke" smell from being aroung the fire, I packed it away after a trip and the next time I opened it the smoke smell was very heavy (but I like that so no biggie for me), maybe it would be a good idea to let it air out for a while after a trip.

This tarp is very well made. All seemed were taped and no loose threads. It has LOTS of loops and edge loops are well reinforced. The guidelines are ok, but you will need to replace the stakes for something better. This tarp is not the lightest, but I would trade the weight for the quality.

I am happy with this product. It is well constructed and durable. I like the loop fastening system over grommets and that there are located in the body of the tarp, not just on the edges. Roomy size. Certainly not an ultralight tarp, but it isn’t terribly heavy either. It all depends on how you are camping.

I have only set it up to check it out so far. I'll be able to put it to use this weekend. But it's a really nice tarp, and looks well made. Looking forward to getting some time using this.

Quality tarp. Good coverage, watertight and solid anchor points. I've used mine on 2 trips, my friend has had one for years without failure. Worth the extra money. You'll spend the same amount replacing cheaper tarps then wise up and get one.

I don't often right reviews but as I am very happy with my purchase and there being only one other review for this product I felt I should.First of all I'd like to say how impressed I was with the delivery speed from DD. I ordered the tarp on a Monday around 3pm, I was surprised and very pleased to have it by midday the next day! Free postage but it was obviously sent 1st class, thumbs up.The tarp itself is very well made, durable material, all double stitched and reinforced where needed. Plenty tie loops giving lots of different shelter options. Being a 3x3 tarp it's very versatile. I haven't had it out in heavy rain yet (surprising considering I live I Scotland!) but having a 3000mm coating I'm sure it's well waterproof. As the previous review states the camouflage pattern is very good, blends in really well. Although I would disagree with his point about the stuff sack. Maybe we pack our tarps differently but I find with a few folds and a roll I can fit mine (with a ridge line and guy lines attached) into the stuff sack with enough room for a pouch of 10 pegs a couple of small bungees AND my pack hammock! Definitely a big enough stuff sack. I'll probably need to change my packing system soon though as I've now treated myself to a nice new DD hammock to replace my old cheap one.All in all I can't find any way to fault this tarp, pack size is great, weight is nice and light, build quality is spot on, and the camo pattern works very well in uk woodlands.
