These are machined of aluminum to all appearances. I do lots of Jack Rackham-themed stuff (that's the skull-with-crossed-swords on these parts) and so I actually got these for their looks, not for a motorcycle.THEY LOOK FANATSTIC. Nicely machine from Aluminum, good clean art, and precise and clean screw holes. The larger one has a channel with a rubber gasket set in it. I'm not sure if it looked automotive-level at a glance, but like I said, I didn't get this for a motorcycle so I don't really know what I'm looking for in that regard. Also, yes, of course they're anti-rust ... it's Aluminum. Which doesn't rust.

These look great on my HD. Easy to change out. No directions included but pretty much self explanatory.
