My only negative on this item is the directions: it should have you putting the bucket on first as it hits the pump housing if you try to put it on 2nd according to the directions. Other than that it sounds wonderful and looks great in front of the porch

I had bought this fountain and a cheaper alpine one. After one winter of storage in the garage this one cracked at the bottom on almost one quarter of the circle while the Alpine did fine. This one looked better quality but its not good for all kind of weather.

The fountain came with minimal assembly required, so it could be up and running in 10 minutes. It appears solidly made, and should prove durable. Being compact, it can be placed in various situations, and provides the pleasing sound of splashing water wherever you want it.

I was hoping to use this for a small water feature in our front walkway/yard area. My kids were also excited because it had the potential to serve as an extension to the magical land of our fairy garden. Unfortunately the resin/plaster this is cast out of is not durable. It has faded in indirect sun exposure and chipped/broken in other places. Furthermore the filter/pump requires constant upkeep to ensure water flow. Pretty disappointed by this overall. It might be better off in an indoor atrium where you can control the air, light and water quality more easily.
