Installed these on a 2006 Subaru Legacy and seem to be a great product. After 3 months there have been no issues. These were half the price of the others I looked at

Don't waste your money. Better safe to go to dealer. At first I was pleased but second set I ordered destroyed my hub bearing and speed sensor because it was not right part.Original post: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited...Fits great. It has been well over one month since installing this axle...I thought I would get a leak since it didn't have the shield like stock, but so far no visible leaks.UPDATE: April 2017 (about 12,000+ miles on these axles)Still going strong. At first had vibrations, but as always was due to my all season tires. Will definitely by again.UPDATE: June 2018. This axle failed recently. Boot by wheel hub is torn. Almost 25,000 miles, so not a bad deal. Interestingly my driver side OEM axle is still going strong and has never been so broken.UPDATE: July 2018. Changed from 5 stars to 1 because I now have to spend $1065 to have axle and hub fixed because the second one I order fro here was too long and destroyed my hub twice.

Installed on my 07 outback and had major vibration on acceleration, switched out for a rebuilt OEM axle, no more vibration. complete waste of time and money!

Perfect fit for driver and passenger front axles for a 2006 subaru outback. Comes with outer hub nut. Drives quiet and quality of product looks great. Plus it's $20-$30 cheaper per axle than local auto parts stores. These are the second products I've purchased from Detroit Axle. Bought rear unit bearings close to two years ago and still going perfectly! Ill definitely purchase again from them if the opportunity presents itself!
