The cut is men's so you might as well just buy the men's version, probably better quality. Literally the chest is 100% men's and on something that isn't not stretchy I would have to way oversize to be able to wear this men's cut. I'm fairly masculine for a female so that's saying something.

The jacket itself is nice. It's a good thickness and feels like a tough material. It's got a quilted lining which is soft. It fit nicely and looks like a good quality. I love the quick snap buttons so it's quick and easy to throw on. I wish there were more colour options.The hood is a joke on this jacket though. It's paper thin. You can literally see through it because it's so thin. I wanted to actually use the hood, in case of a light rain but I'd be better off without this hood. It's a real shame since the jacket itself is so high quality and this hood is so low quality.If you just want the hood as a fashion piece and don't need to use the hood, I'd recommend this jacket. If you actually want to use the hood, I'd pass on this one.

I am 5'4" 170lbs and have a medium size chest. I bought the XL. When I tried in with a thick sweater underneath and this jacket was very tight. I think it will be better with a less bulky shirt underneath. Since this is a spring/fall jacket for barn chores I don't need a heavy undershirt. Good quality for the price.
