It's a great jacket! The one flaw, and thisnhas been a tingley thing forever, is their zippers are horrible. My first jacket lasted 8 days before the zipper broke of several teeth and I had to get a new jacket. My current one is going on a month strong. I wish they had zippers in the arm pits. The jacket retains heat a little too well

Decent value for the money. True to size. Issues are, not really waterproof. Water resistant kinda. Elastic cuffs on sleeves are a pain. Pockets not very well thought out. But still good value under $100.

Looked at the reviews, and thought it was a little warm — but not .More like a real good rain jacket

It's a decent medium duty, light winter jacket. As mentioned, up your size at least one level and I probably should have gone two sizes larger. It's shorter too and rides up easily. Rain-proof with decent warmth, say comfy in 0 to -10C without a sweater. The quilted liner makes it easier to layer without messing with the sleeves. It grabs and shows the dirt but seems to wash-up nice so far. My biggest beef is with the elastic wrist cuffs. These are so tight that I need to take my watch off when I wear it.

Considering the price of the jacket I didnt expect it to be warm considering how thin it was but the overall quality was good. I work outside all day in the elements and boy was I wrong. This jacket kept me so warm and cozy all I wore was a t shirt and a sweater then the jacket.I upped my size from a meaduim to a large still found it a bit small and it would ride up when you raise your arms. So I went for a extra large and it fit perfectly it's weird because I'm 5,7 180 lbs so I thought that the large would work when I knew I was going to wear something underneath. The jacket keeps your body heat in as it is non breathable so if your doing really physical labour your going to sweat.Still overall the jacket is really good in my opinion and it does does what its supposed to do and with the price you can't go wrong.

Love this jacket. I'm 6'-1" and normally wear a size large for a trim fit. As suggested in other reviews I stepped up the size to XL when I ordered. The fit is perfect. Most rain jackets have no style at all. The Tingley Bomber II is an exception. This is a really cool-looking jacket with good design and tailoring. The stand up collar is especially good-looking -- and functional. The integral hood stows in the collar, but I leave it out so I can flip it up easily in the rain. I have worn this jacket in heavy rain with the hood up, and it is totally waterproof. I don't need an umbrella. Most rain jackets are something you want to take off as soon as possible. I hate to take this one off because I like the way it looks. It really is high-visibility too, with lots of bright, reflective strips. For you motorcyclists out there, be aware that this jacket is not tailored for riding. It's warm and high-vis, but the sleeves are not set forward like a riding jacket, the bottom isn't long enough to keep from exposing your lower back to the weather, and the fit at the torso is not snug enough to resist flapping somewhat in the air stream as you ride. Bottom line for non-motorcycle use: If you want a warm, high-visibility, great-looking rain jacket that is a very good value for the price, this is the one!

Not a bad jacket for the price. I flag on a paving crew and the jacket did very well in the pouring rain. About the fit, it's very big on top with a very snug fitting waistband. I'm a tiny female (5'0") and always looking to find gear that fits. A great summer construction jacket.

I bought one of these to walk in due to the high visibility. I was amazed at the quality for the money that these jackets provide. So much so that I also bought one for my wife. They are very well made and warm to weather in the 40's so far with just a light sweatshirt underneath. Great reflective properties all around and a nice fit at the cuffs and waist. I always buy a size up in jackets like these to layer with and the XL fit me perfectly. I'm 5'8" and 185 lbs. I've worn it in the rain and kept perfectly dry. I also think that this is a perfect jacket to keep in the car for both rain and emergencies. I don't know how they do it for $42 but it is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon.
