You can create unique Faux finishes while adding depth and dimension to your project. Our water-based glazes can be intermixed or layered to create unique colors. Our glazes come in 9 colors: Black, Copper Bronze, Gold Shimmer, Grunge, Hi Ho Silver, Pearlescent, Sapphire Peal, Van Dyke Brown, and Whitewash. Apply a Dixie Belle paint product and allow to dry. Apply glaze in small sections using a Dixie Belle brush (we prefer the French Tip or Premium Chip Brush) or a clean cloth. Wipe away excess glaze or add more as necessary. You can use Dixie Belle glazes on a clean unpainted surface, a Dixie Belle painted surface, or a Clear Coated surface. Its a muted gold liquid that you can control the level of application. Sometimes a muted gold on furniture looks better than a bold shiny gold.

I used this glaze to "age" an antique vanity I painted, so it wouldn't look new. Product is very easy to use and worked beautifully.

Do not buy the copper bronze. It’s shown in brown which was the exact color I wanted and what came was a light pink metallic. I contacted the company and I would have to pay to ship it back and order another color. It’s completely misrepresented. The company needs to include the exact color in the photos. Total inconvenience and a waste of money.

I used this to touch up damage to a piece that I really like. Overall, the job went smoothly. A small amount goes a very long way. I plan to pick up a nice piece, probably a small storage chest and finish it using this pant.
