Le produit reçu présente un coup alors que neuf et bien emballé ... Par ailleurs le trou pour mettre l'archet de mon violon n'est pas du tout percé dans l'axe, l'archet est donc complètement de travers et ne tiens pas ...Dommage car le support est plutôt joli et fonctionnel en dehors de cela...

This stand is perfect for my tenor acoustic/electric ukulele. It is adjustable and accommodates the audio cable. Some smaller stands will not work when the audio cable is attached. Is also taller (11") and the ukulele rests on it quite well without falling over.I found it to be quite well packaged and required very minor assembly. The wood adds a touch of style. I like his stand.

I do not have any negative comments on the Donner instrument stand. I use it for my Concert size ukulele and it works perfectly. I see no problem with the quality. It was simple to assemble and only took a few minutes. An Allen wrench, the only tool you will need, was even included in the shipment. The hinge for the legs is already in place so you do not have to install it. The hinge basically has two positions, half and fully open. However, that is not completely true. If you want to position it at an intermediate position, there is enough friction in the hinge so that it stays at whatever width you choose. My comment regarding portability is that it is portable. It is small enough that it would be very easy to transport unless you wanted to carry it inside an instrument case in which case you could remove the screws that secure the two base pieces. However, I can imagine that being necessary. I do wood working and I could not have made a comparable stand for the cost of this one. It is a bargain in my opinion.

Surprised this hasn't had any reviews so far. There's a lot of stands for mandolins and ukuleles out there that are poorly designed, ugly or over-priced, this is none of those. Made from solid wood (no MDF here), it's a nice colour and well finished, with foam protection in the right places and very reasonably priced. Perfect for my Eastman 305 mandolin and Snail concert uke. It's easy to assemble and both sturdy and stable. Also perfectly portable, although I'm not sure how long the hinge mechanism would last if you were opening and closing constantly, that might be a weak point if there is one. I just use it as a permanent stand beside my guitars and I'm really pleased with function, looks and quality. Recommended.

This is a great little stand for the price and the function. If you prefer a more natural looking stand (I have another that is more modern looking, but I am usually a natural girl), this may be just right for you. It fits various size string instruments. I have 5 of my ukes on here; 2 different types of sopranos and 3 different types of Concert. I have a Tenor coming soon, and I am sure it will be fine as well! (please forgive that I know I need to vacuum...I am back in college and life is a bit crazy. Thank goodness for therapy by way of ukulele!)The only downside, I suppose is in putting it together---but I am still giving it 5 stars because it is not really a downside if you put focus into it. Just be aware that when you are putting the arms into the stand (the arms which hold the instrument), you need to truly push them into the stand so that the backside of the screws come through far enough for you to be able to attach and tighten the twist knobs that allow you to do so. At first, I was not sure the screws were long enough, but with focused attention and intention, I finally pressed through with a tight enough hold to be able to attach the knobs...so don't give up!
