I have a 99' 5.3L lm7 gmc Sierra sle as a hand me down and ever since I've been replacing or adding mods.Today I was hoping to replace the manual/door lock plastic part...Unfortunately the backside of the new part is larger than original which is fine im able to cut a little out to make room...The one design flaw that totally made this not work or attach inside was from the new piece... On one side it has a clip so the piece can attach to the inside door liner. It should also have a 2nd clip so that it may stay seated in the door....Since it only has one side support... Even when its fully inside... It seems like it will pop off or eventually fall off because its sticking out way to far out and no support on the 2nd side....Totally not worth it, without that extra support clip inside it just looks bad... Check my pic to see yourself what it looks like fully seated without the 2nd support...Originals have both support yet aftermarket doesn't....I dont recommend at all....
