1) Sur mon Infiniti retirer les breakaway bolts installées en usine n’est pas aussi facile que le laisse supposer la vidéo de Dorman. Les breakaway bolts sont beaucoup plus profondes sur Infiniti que Nissan semble-t-il. J’ai donc dû me résigner à aller voir mon garagiste.2) Mon garagiste a été incapable programmer mes deux télécommandes même en utilisant le programmateur fourni dans le kit et en suivant à la lettre les instructions de Dorman (en français et en anglais). Mon garagiste a été obligé d’appeler un serrurier qui possède un programmeur des clef à 4,000$. Sinon, c’était le remorquage de mon véhicule jusqu’au concessionnaire Infiniti le plus proche.3) Le module Dorman est BEAUCOUP plus bruyant que l’unité d’origine installé par Infiniti à l’usine. Le module d’origine était très silencieux, tellement que j’en étais venu à oublier son existence. Sur le Dorman par contre, on entend très clairement le moteur et l’engrenage tourné. C’est selon moi totalement inacceptable peu importe le véhicule, mais d’autant plus sur un véhicule de luxe comme un Infiniti qui a un intérieur feutré très bien insonorisé.Le seul avantage de ce produit Dorman est qu’il coûte beaucoup moins cher que le module de remplacement chez Infiniti.

Worked great on my 2009 Nissan Altima, in total the job took about 15 minutes to complete and the car was back up and running. Didn’t need a lock smith, the programming tool worked perfectly fine. Follow instructions and won’t have any issues. Alil noisy locking but I’d buy again if I had too.

I have an 09 Altima and I really didn’t want to have to buy this product, but when the dealership tells me the one they will sell me is 3x this price (plus they won’t even look at my vehicle), you can’t beat it. I was able to take apart the defected item and put on this one myself. I got a professional locksmith to reprogram my keys so I’m not sure about this one’s programmer, but it works like a charm! My steering wheel doesn’t get locked anymore

This Product does not work With My 2007 Infiniti G35. I followed all the instructions and it will not work, i too the Car to the dealer to program and the dealer used their part to start the car and their part worked . I would like to return this product.

There you are, stuck in your Nissan/Infiniti with just a yellow Intellikey light on your dash to the left, and a red car with a key to the right. Nothing happens when you press the start button. Nothing responds at all. You are furious, frustrated and possibly stranded.Well, it's likely that your steering lock module has failed and you're not alone- this affected many, many 2009-10 Nissan/Infiniti models. But like me, you're probably out of warranty and had your eyes practically fall out of your head at the cost of an OEM steering lock replacement ($800+ easy, depending on vendor, and tack on labor...)Fear not. This works perfectly. You'll want a dremel with a cutting bit or something similar to remove the security bolts, but otherwise an incredibly easy installation. The trick is to make sure your reading comprehension skills are on point. It's REALLY easy to deprogram your keys, and then you're going to need the dealership or an auto key tech who can reprogram your key.I didn't read the directions well and wound up having to get my 2009 G37X towed to the dealership- the tech was surprised at the size of this unit but was able to reprogram my key fob and get me up and running again. I haven't seen any documentation anywhere confirming that this module works in the G37X but hey, here you are reading my review. It works, provided you read the instructions and understand what you're reading.I can't be more clear: If you don't read the directions and brick your car requiring a tow, it's not this product that bricked your car- it's you not reading the damn directions like what happened to me. Five stars for the product, one star for my reading skills. And one star for the reviewers saying this locked their car up. Don't hit lock on the fob when the instructions say to hit unlock! This part works perfectly when installed and set up correctly.

I wish there's zero star for product review.I have 09 Altima. I purchased this part and installed to my car. I followed the instruction video but this part totally screwed up my anti theft system, and my car was immobilized. My key did not work for doors neither. I called tech support of Dorman and they said I need to take my car to the dealer (SO IRRESPONSIBLE) and was blaming me not to follow the instruction. I was trying to remove it from my car before I tow it to the dealer, but provided security screws were preventing me to do so. I just towed it to the dealer with Dorman part attached but it turned out that the original part on my car was on soft recall (voluntary replacement service) and repaired my car for free. Check with your Nissan dealer if your eligible for this service BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS PART.
