Good price and works great. Pain to take old out and put this in but that's the car design and no fault of the fan. I tested it beforehand and then installed it. Works perfect and engine runs cool again especially with ac on.

I have a 2008 Trailblazer SS and I rebuilt the motor with a lot of parts from Amazon, I'm pushing more power to the tune of 600hp. And the stock clutch fan I knew wasn't going to work, so I saw this one for $130 and I got it. It frees up horse power and has dual fans, to keep that engine cool and from overheating. You'll have to buy the dual electric cooling fan wiring install kit for $25, it turns the fans on at 185 or 195 degrees and off at 165. So you can buy this fan for $137, or you can pay anywhere from $500 and up for the same fans somewhere else. If you buy one from the junkyard it's junk, and how long will it last? As you can tell I'm happy with mine, Best Bang for the buck.

I purchased these fans for my 2006 trailblazer ss but the only thing that is compatible is a 1998 to 2002 Pontiac Firebird, Camaro. I looked up the fans in a Camaro what kind of fabrication I might need to do it if this is right

Here we have 2 giant fans with shroud for about $100. Sounds too good to be true but this really is a great product. I'm not sure what vehicle this was originally made for, but this is a large setup. I am running it in my 68' C10 and the entire assembly is nearly the same size as my radiator. I saw a lot of negative reviews saying that the fans were drawing excessive amperage, so when I installed it I used 10 gauge wire straight from the battery to each fan. Before I installed it, however, I ran a bench test to see what current these really were drawing. I got a max start-up current of 18 amps from one fan. After start-up however, the amperage sits somewhere between 6-9 amps. I am running each fan with a 20 amp fuse and have not had a problem yet. I don't know if the other reviewers had a bad ground or just got a faulty product, but this is a great deal if you don't want to shell out 200+ clams for a similar setup from a performance parts manufacturer. If you don't use this in whatever vehicle it was made for, you will have to custom mount it. It was pretty easy in my truck and the injection molded plastic takes self-tapping screws well. If you are on the fence about this product, or scared by the power draw, let this review put your mind at ease.

Hot Texas heat really makes the Tahoe struggleI purchased to:Keep AC Temperatures cold at stoplights or in trafficReduce Engine Temperatures in same circumstances or while towingReduce Engine Load at low speed acceleration and towingI have used this product over a year now and it has met and surpassed all of my goals. My AC is always super cold, my truck has yet to overheat, and I can definitely feel a slight improvement in acceleration. It is also far less noisy than the clutch fan.Almost a perfect fit for my 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe 5.7L. I removed the clutch fan, removed the clutch fan shroud and had to unscrew the transmission cooler lines. The fan slides down in and sits pretty close to perfect on the bottom mounts. The top did not have a great way to secure the fan, so I basically built angle brackets which mount in the old shroud bolt holes and meet up perfectly with fan bolt holes on top.I controlled it with a flex-a-lite controller(probe in radiator) which has worked flawlessly.(18 Month Update)Fans still work just as the first day I installed. I am very happy with purchase and would definitely purchase this again. So far, no negatives.

Installed the Dorman 620-634 radiator dual fan assembly into a modified Firebird with racing cam and high rise nitrous system. Firebird ran hot with former fan system, with the Dorman the temperatures are running 210 degrees in traffic and 200 degrees on the roll. Fan shroud needs some modification for the lower right radiator entry hose and the upper fan shroud retainer. Since I'm running a warmer than normal engine I installed a Sting Ray open air scope on the hood and the Dorman 620-634 was designed for the Corvette heavy duty engine so the two combined work well. Marty from technical support at Dorman was very helpful with the wiring schematic which I needed to wire up this Hot Rod. Time for install cutting and wiring about 5 hours. Dorman include some specifications in their package like CFM which is 1150 per fan and ampere load per fan motor which is available through technical support. Amazon delivered the package as advertised in good packaging. Haven't run the fan with the nitrous burning yet keeping my fingers crossed.

The motors are made of much thinner material vs. stock GM, but work decent. I purchased this fan assembly for my project vehicle. Had to slightly modifyimprove the fan motor mounting and fabricate some simple bracketry, but it mounts great! The motor mounting holes are weak and the screws holding the motors in the housing will strip out easily. Easy fix to take a quick ride to hardware store and grab some nice stainless nuts and bolts, drill out holes for 1/4-20 bolts to pass through and put back together. Electrical connectors are factory GM and available at NAPA.RPM: 2750VOLTS: 11-14AMPS: 22 totalDUTY CYCLE: 100%AVG. LIFE: 2000 hrs
