Works great. Previous violent driveshaft ejection obviously damaged this part. So now I am on the second driveshaft while replacing this coupler. Check all your u-joints! Even the slightest vibration in the cab can end up having catastrophic results.(Got this used on clearance for nothing)Check fluids after replacement.

We ordered this extension housing for our 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 5.3L. Upon receiving it and reading some of the not-so-good reviews, I thoroughly inspected it for ANY defects and there were NONE to be found. Installation was seemless. Very good product and I'd recommend to any of my family and friends!

First of all, big stamp that says made in china.. Cheap and horrible quality. If you have any kind of power you WILL break these consistently. Had a pin sized hole brand new. Thankfully, the battery was dead so the truck had to sit over night. Next morning transmission fluid all over the floor... had we hurried up and tried to test it out surely something catastrophic would have happened... ridiculous. Don't waste your money.
