It’s a nice box, seems well constructed but there is flaw in the tube assembly. It’s not sealed so it lets air into the line and basically breaks the siphon and thus you get air bubbles during the dosing and you never get the MLs you programmed. It’s an easy fix but you’ll have to buy a $10 tube of silicone caulk to fix it. Why can’t they do this? Are they not reading these reviews? Yes it does have a terrible chemical smell, why can’t they rinse it during production? It’s made in China, enough said.

Right out of the box the container has an awful STRONG chemical smell. I tried to rinse it out which left a word film above the clean water no matter how much I rinsed. Reef tanks are too sensitive to take a chance on product that could potentially leech chemicals into my dosing solution and tank.

Great build quality and should serve me well for many years, I wanted to start mixing my own dosing to save some money. This after one or two batches will pay for itself and allow me more control in my water parameters.

Ever since setup the redsea doser. Been suspecting some issue with it not dosing full amount. Been troubleshooting with redsea and finally found the problem is the dosing container. 2/3 inlet has air leak which lead to not able to dose full amount. Seller has scam return policy within 30 days. It takes this much time to troubleshoot with doser . Avoid this junk snd buy from reputable sources. Waste of my money and amazon is as bad as this seller
