I used this iron to make cheesy tator tots. I put it on the fire to clean after I was done and it melted. I’d share a picture but I don’t want Amazon to access my photos.

My son loved this and used it a lot on his last camping trip! He made grilled cheese sandwiches easily by spraying the inside of this item with spray vegetable oil prior to adding two bread slices and cheese inside of it. It worked great over a campfire.

The hinge part comes off right away. I won’t even try using it to prepare food in it.

This panini maker is a great buy, very easy to use and wash. I’m giving it a 5 star because of how easy and convenient it is to use and wash, but I do want to say that the hinge part is a little inconvenient because it easily falls off and not Easy to Clip back on. Other than that it’s a great product I just received it a few days ago and I already used it like 4 times stove top. I’m excited to use it on the bbq pit soon.

I like the cast iron-like construction of this sandwich maker. It works well on my wood stove for fully utilizing the fire and heat on a cold night.My only wish is that the handles were a little longer. I have another sandwich press with handles about 3-4 inches longer than this one. That allows one to get further away from the heat source when the fire roars.
