How to use expansion screws
Step 1
Choose a suitable drill bit and use a hand drill to make a hole in the wall (the depth of the hole is greater than the length of the expansion tube so that the line will not be completely plugged into the wall). Tip: Use a small stick to clean the sand inside the hole so that the sand will not block the inconvenience of installation.
Step 2
Use a hammer to smash the expansion tube entirely into the hole. Put the screw through the installation hole of the object to be fixed.
Step 3
Screw into the expansion tube with a screwdriver and tighten.

Secure residential 2x3 downspouts (2x3 headers) to sturdy .027 gauge aluminum exterior walls. It extends the downspout's life, effectively strengthens it, protects it in inclement weather, and saves you from costly maintenance.

Perfect fit for downspouts from the 1970’s on my home. The screws were way too long though for attaching to brick, so I used my own screws and anchors .

Gutter downspout clamps. Perfect! I initially bought some crap from Lowe's. Made it some cheap,thin,flexible aluminum... Don't buy.order these instead.

As others have noted, these are a little too short to attach to the wall, by about 1/4 to 3/8 inch, but since I can't find this type locally, was able to use them, anyway, with a little creativity.I used large washers as shims, on both sides, to fill the gaps, and, having found the ends bent slightly forward, bent them back into a flatter, more parallel position with the wall, and they attached easily, picture attached.If you're willing to do this, go ahead and buy them, but, if not, don't...it's very easy though.
