How to Install
Step 1
Cut out a 6.5" section of the 3x4 inch downspout.
Step 2
Slide the top cap up.
Step 3
Put the bottom base in place.
Step 4
Make the top piece down into the bottom base.

I like the fact that I could redirect the water flow off back to the eave when my rain barrel was full. I think the knob turns a bit hard. l get some some resistance like it's hitting something inside when I"m turning it but it does work.

Product is easy to install, but could have used a 6 feet hose instead of the 4 feet.

Great concept but doesn’t fit tightly and the weight of the hose will cause the assembly to come apart. You could put straps around top and bottom of spout to keep it tight but I decided to use epoxy on the 2 seams. Be prepared to do more than just assemble it. Waiting for rain to see if it leaks…

Easy to install and switch from left side drain to right side. The hose that came with it really didn't work for my situation but was able to use it for the overflow on my rain barrel. I went to the plumbing section at Lowe's and found an adjustable drain line that was able to divert the water where needed.I would and probably buy another one of these.
