I’ve used heli-coils for the longest time. Spent as high as $500 dollars for my 1” x 20” kit, always had trouble with the inserting, the tool, my $500 American design and made is double threaded on both side of the coil, at times as it has worn now jams, hit and miss.But with this kit I bought for 02 sensor repair into cast iron, no trouble is so so simple to use. The straight slotted key way and a way smaller diameter inserting shaft makes the heli-coil freely spiral into cast iron with ease. This kit even came with an allen to adjust the depth again making this a breeze and complete to use.Now I’m going to modify my more expensive kit, all will be well when it comes to heli-coiling in my shop thanks to Amazon and this heil-coil supplier.
