DS the mini Rainbow RGB Controller have provided SATA cable, can support All of PSU model. Furthermore, users can use the included RF remote control to easily select preferred Rainbow RGB lighting effects, colors and color change speed; no software or APP is required.
So there is no need to worry because the motherboard does not have a lighting control system, DS mini 3pin controller helps you solve this problem.

SATA connector has three sets of voltage: 5V, 12V, 3V;
This product only supports 5V voltage. When you use Molex to SATA cable, please use 4pin Molex connector.

I have an aging motherboard that doesn’t have ARGB headers and wanted to connect some ARGB fans and a light strip to my new gaming PC build.I plugged it into a USB header on my motherboard, zip tied the cables, and used the included adhesive (and a few zip ties) to secure it to the back of my case. The adhesive isn’t very good so you may want to try zip ties or a stronger adhesive strip.The product itself works flawlessly and I used the remote control instructions included in the listing’s images to change the lighting.

The first one I ordered the remote didn't work. Second one works perfectly. Otherwise 5 stars. This is the perfect solution if your motherboard doesn't have a 5vdg

Used this as an alternative to a motherboard that didn't have RGB. Easy to hook up to chain link RGB fans. Works great with remote.

I bought this product for my pc because my motherboard was RGB only and didn’t have ARGB compatibility as where my case was ARGB.So I bought this little guy here and plugged it in, it comes with a remote to go through all the different settings of lights. When the PC is shut down all lights go out and when turned back on all the lights come back on right where they were set. I’d say this is a perfect device for the price.
