These cards teach universal photography concepts that will help you shoot on any DSLR, SLR, or mirrorless camera model. The content is not brand-specific (suitable for Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc) so it does refer to your model specifically. For example, you’ll need to look in your manual to see which dial changes your aperture, but these cards explain WHY you want to change your aperture and how it affects your images.

I stumbled upon this cheat sheet set while looking for a tripod for my camera to use for a photography course through my college. I wasn’t originally going to buy it, because the topics on the cards we had already discussed in class. I’m glad I did buy these little cards, because I learned some new information! I also didn’t realize when you buy these card sets (there’s apparently 3 different sets) you get a free photography course, which is where I learned some new stuff! Overall this was a really great buy! I also ordered the Lighting & Composition set, and I’m excited for it to arrive after looking through this set! I highly recommend for beginners!

The real value of this product is in the free tutorial that accompanied the cheat sheet cards. I highly recommend going through the videos that explains how to use the cards effectively. I honestly don’t think I would have gotten as much information alone from the cards. But the cards are very durable, easy to read, and have lots of visuals. It’s just that as a beginner, the videos are the real value.

I am just getting into photography and bought myself a nice new camera. This is a perfect cheatsheet to help me with all the confusing settings on my camera. The cards are the perfect size, sturdy and laminated, and clips right onto my camera bag and into a side pocket. Loved it so much I bought one for my son who is also into photography!

These are great for the BEGINNER. I am a beginner and these help me with settings. I have seen other reviews criticizing these cards. Those are people who obviously already know everything. If you are like me and just starting out with a DSLR I recommend these cards. They help. They are sturdy. They clip to the outside of your bag for easy access. You won't be disappointed. If you already know all the basics to your camera then these will not be of help.

This is a great product! Small and easy to clip onto my camera bag. (It comes with a carabiner clip.) Great visual aids and cards that are color coded by sections. Plus, you get a free mini online course (20 minutes) to go over the basics. Extremely helpful for any beginner like me! I learned a few short cuts to make use of my camera a little easier. I will definitely recommend to any other newbies!

These cards are so helpful. I’ve done photography in the past but it’s been awhile and I’ve forgotten a lot of stuff. So after getting a new camera I wanted a good reference guide for taking better pictures in manual mode and found this gem. Everything is so well organized and easy to understand and quick to access if you’re having trouble in one area. I think the thing I like best about it is the size and portability. (See photo of it next to my canon g7x Mark ii) It’s the perfect size to throw into my camera bag and have on hand when I’m out in the field taking pictures and need the help. Also with it being a harder plastic it looks like it’ll hold up for awhile.Bonus: It also comes with a free online mini photography course that goes thru the cards more in depth which helped when I first got the cards.Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this. Definitely worth it if your new to DSLRs and want to get off just shooting in auto mode.
