I use this attached to a cymbal stand. A splash cymbal is on the other end of the dual drum clamp and it's suspended over my 2nd bass drum. The ability to alter positions is a BIG plus as I can reach the splash no matter how high or low it is. Another plus is this seems to be unbreakable, it's that well made.

Love this new product I they alway purchased Gibraltar products, I thought why not save $25.00 so I purchased one love it so much I now own 3It is heavy dual. It clamp perfectly my left side HiHat side to hold my 10 “ snare I can also use it to sure up two cymbal stands ( a great mini rack arm)I will more then likely purchase another before someone decides to increase its price.
