STAY-OFF AT DAYTIME
The light sensor activates the switch when the ambient brightness is higher than 600 LUX, at which point the outdoor light fixture will automatically turn off.
STAY-ON AT NIGHT
The light sensor activates the switch when the ambient brightness is less than 20-90 LUX, at which point the outdoor light fixture will automatically turn on.

This light fixture looks nice and I bought a second one so I could put them on either side of my garage door. I picked it out so we’d have extra outlets to plug in small items like our hedge trimmer, shop vac, Christmas lights, etc. They work great for that purpose, and we haven’t experienced any blown fuses or anything like that. The one negative is that the metal is a bit flimsy and the glass portion wasn’t hanging straight despite the unit being hung perfectly straight (we triple checked and used a level). My husband had to shim and bend it to get it to look right. Now that they’re up, I love them.

I had just had contractors redo my siding and I noticed that there was a gap around the light fixture. I also wanted to add some lighting to my porch that was operated from the light switch. This was perfect, it was larger on the mounting surface and had switch controlled outlets so it served both purposes. I still don't believe that every outdoor light needs dusk dawn sensors, which this has, but almost all lighting now has motion, dusk-dawn, WiFi etc. This lamp served my purposes well and was in good protective boxing and came on time.

I was excited to be able to test this outdoor light with two plugs for the front entry of my home as we only have outdoor plugs on the back of the house and there are times when its pretty inconvenient to run an extension cord out front, or leave my front door open so I can plug in in the living room. The light itself is nice looking, nothing overly special, just an outdoor light. It's the ability to plug in that makes this light stand out. The two plugs are nicely hidden under the plate with a cover which is easy to open but also clips shut securely when not in use. I don't intend to use the dusk to dawn feature, though motion activation would have been better for my use.Currently on discount, but is not expensive for what this is in the first place. Recommend.
