I use these QD mounts for my sling that has clips on the end and the triangular shape helps keep the sling in place

I am using this on a AR style rifle and they are quite sturdy. The button to remove is not easily depressed, but it is not difficult to remove or attach. I wanted the triangular shaped attachments due to using a single point sling and not wanting to add an adapter. The ability to lock in a specific position makes it ideal for what I wanted. I recently bought these and have not used the QD system previously, so this is based on experience with a lot of different types of sling attachments and not specifically with this type.
