Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with the Eastman water heater connector. Built of a non-toxic PVC core, these water heater hose connections are lead-free for potable water and include lead-free brass adapters to allow for solder-free connections to copper pipe. This water heater connector hose is equipped with a 3/4 x 3/4 inch FIP connection and a grade 304 stainless steel braided exterior designed to prevent kinking and crimping. This stainless steel braid has a maximum burst pressure of 1200 PSI and a maximum working temperature of 221 degrees F suitable for connecting a water supply line to a new or existing electric water heater.

I had an oddball Water Heater install in a mobile home. It was plumbed like the guy was drunk, but more likely the person was under pressure from management, so he took shortcuts. That's how it works in America. Anyway this made the cold water in pipe way too high for the 40 gallon tank. We had a standard 18" kit, and while the hot out was fine, there just wasn't enough length for the cold in, and I didn't want to cut the pipe and re-thread it or create a 6" copper extension for/from the new WH. This 24" hose was the best solution. It's so well made and as easy to install as the 18" had the plumber done his job right the first time.

I read the reviews before and so was a bit concerned that the internal diameter (ID) of the hose was not going to be 1/2". My first purchase was for a thermal expansion tank connector so that wasn't of really big concern. I am happy to report that the ID of these hoses is 15/32 of an inch (0.46875") at the brass nuts and at least 1/2" internally between the two end nuts. If you need full 16/32" of water flow then you probably should go with a more expensive alternative to this hose. Given that my water heater tank's hot water out anode-nipple combo rod has a small ID and I have an old galvanized 1/2" system up stream of my cold water intake to the heater, it won't make much difference in my particular case to lose the 1/16" ID that some folks must have. I noted when inspecting the hose that the brass barrel nipple that is used to at least 1" deep on each side, so this appears to be a quality part, even if the intake and outtake brass ID is slightly smaller than spec.Will update this review if I find any significant issues when in use in our hot water home system, etc.

I used this to connect to a water line going to my cattle trough. Since I am away for extended periods, I wouldn't trust a rubber/vinyl hose, so I upgraded to this product. Price was considerably less than the hardware store and it is a fine product

Wow made my hot water heater install project made easier and less time. It has been 2 weeks since installing the flex hoses which are life savers.. The hoses are well made and easy to install.

Great heavy duty hose used to connect water softener. Not a full 3/4 internal diameter, but no big issue on that for our needs. Compared to big box stores, same quality at half the price.
