Well this is a lighter jacket, I wore it in New York when the temperatures were in the twenties and as long as I layered with a sweater it was perfect. And, the length is great as it goes beyond your hips

I followed the care instructions for the Cirruslite Down Jacket. The material inside the individual "puffy" sections bunched up making the jacket look lumpy. Definitely not worth the money. Do not recommend.

Warm, comfortable nice fit. I live in southern ca so it is not real cold. I’m 5’6” and weigh around 145 lbs. I got a large to have room to move freely. Seems well made. I’ve only had to wear it three times for my three mile walk.

This is a solid budget choice for a down jacket. The exterior is thin and not very durable but the jacket is warm and light and looks fine. Down really isn’t a fashion choice in my book, it’s about warmth, and this jacket is very functional and affordable. The cut is reasonably flattering too.

The Amazon Eddie Bauer Women's Cirruslite order page is confusing. I first ordered the Medium which arrived as the "jacket". It was too short and tight and had no hood so I returned it. (I'm 5'3", 140 lbs.)I then took a chance on ordering the Large and it arrived as the "parka", which is what I wanted. It's long and covers my behind, plenty of room to add another layer underneath, it's very warm for being so lightweight and comes with the hood. For my recent trip to Boston (in December) it squished down nicely in my backpack and removed without a wrinkle. I ordered through Amazon instead of through Eddie Bauer because they deliver so quickly. I would recommend the parka or the jacket but I wish the description of each item was more clear for other's to follow.

The jacket itself is very light. It keeps me warm and I like the hood. I also really like the zipper. One major complaint is that feather starts to leak very early on. After first wash, I can see feathers leaking. After owning it for a month, I see feathers leaking everyday.
