I have tried a couple of different Remote Outlets and these are BY FAR the BEST EVER!!! Another brand I had to contort myself into various positions to scan the barcode to add it to my app and sometimes I had to do that over and over again to get them to work. These, come with a sheet of barcodes so when you plug it in, all you have to do is scan the matching barcode on the sheet and it starts to add it to the iHome app. It basically does it all from there. All you have to do is name the outlet and set any timers that you want. IT IS THAT EASY!!!!

I spent over 3 hours with the smart app trying to get this to connect since I have 5G and the 2.4 plug stopped working. I follow the directions with the plug and I'm glad I only bought one. Instead of a multi-pack. It will go in the bin I keep my 2.4 gigahertz in.

these items were working great in the beginning but after about a month the programing for each of them was getting lost. Having to use the button or my phone to turn lights on. Reprogramed them 3 times with no luck. I even started from scratch connecting to WiFI and programming. Still doing the same thing. No issues with my wifi. So not sure why they lose programming

No tuve problema para darlo de alta en la app de Smart Life y con el nuevo modem de telmex que ya no son compatibles con la frecuencia 2.4 GHz, éste que es de 5 GHz funcionó sin problema. Le doy 4 estrellas porque no me gusto mucho como tiene programado las notificaciones y aunque si me avisa cuando suceden los eventos que programé en el app de que se prenda o apague, me aparece la notificación como error del "device and network " en lugar de la notificación como las que mandan otros aparatos que indican que se prendió o apagó el enchufe.Fuera de eso no he tendido problemas.

For about 3 years I had another brand. It worked most of the time. But almost every time the WiFi went out I would go days without being able it turn my light on in my home office. About a month ago I once again had issues getting it to connect to the WiFi. I looked online for that same outlet, and quickly learned the problem. Most modern WiFi setups default to 5G. Most Smart Outlets do not.EIGHTREE's Smart Plug does. I ordered it, and the setup was relatively simple. It's been a few months, I've had to reboot my modem a few times, something that usually triggered the old smart plug, but this one, just has no issues so far staying connected because it can connect to both 2.4G or 5G. I highly recommend this smart plug.

These smartplugs are the easiest of any. In the past I've been frustrated by plugs that I could never get to synchronize. These are truly PLUG n' PLAY !! Plug them into outlet, open your app to ADD DEVICE and they immediately show up on the screen. Then you enter your wifi password and after a few seconds you're DONE. I put one on our small rotating Christmas Tree and another on the small heater in the bedroom so I can turn it on about 10 minutes before bed. Other plugs I've had would only work on 2.5GHz wifi and would NEVER work with my Google Fiber router. These 5 GHz Eightree plus work PERFECTLY !

Super easy to set up. Paired immediately with my WiFi network. No smart bulb required. I just plugged my lamp into the smart plug and put that in the outlet. I love that I can set a timer or turn the light off and on from my phone.
