These hooks are designed to stick on. The adhesive is too weak. It stays on the cabinet only for about 5 days then it falls off the cabinet. We cleaned the surface prior to applying the hook but it still didn't work. They are better off redesigning it to have two holes and using screws to hold it onto the cabinet instead of using double sided tape.

These hooks are just ok. The adhesive tape is thicker than I would like. So far holding on. I hang towels and jeans off of them. Time will tell how strong the adhesive tape is. Slicker garmets will slide off hook like my running pants. All in all not bad and get the job done.

Perfect for my jewelry studio. I tend to set things on fire and cleaning up a fire extinguisher is a major pain. The fire blanket is a great solution and these little hooks allow me to mount it close and make it accessible. If you can deploy fast, you put the fire out fast. Could use better adhesive, but a solid product!

These hooks are exactly what I needed to make sure I kept fire blankets where I needed them to stay; I needed them in my truck, my kitchen, my bedrooms and by my BBQ.There are so many times I’ve heard of friends and family owning these but not being able access them quick enough to exhaust a quick burning fire. The 3M adhesive is the best in the business so I know I can trust that if I apply these correctly to finishes. I was able to successfully adhere these hooks to metal, concrete, wood and paint. If you make sure to clean the surface, wipe alcohol and let it dry, affix the hook and then wait for a day, these are so solid.I absolutely recommend.

I got these beacuse I like to keep my fire blanket close by in an emergency situation. These super strong and sticky hooks make it easy to install just about anywhere in your kitchen that you could imagine. They will stick to lots of different surfaces - wood, plastic, painted surfaces, uneven surfaces etc, so that in an emergency you can just quickly grab what you need to keep your family and your home safe. A fire blaket needs to be in every home, and this is the tool that you need to make sure that it's not just in your home but its NEARBY which is most important. Instead of hidden away in the back of some closet, this can be hung right inside the cabinet next to your stove or whereever. Defintely worth getting for your fmaily or your house.

These Zhyraze Fire Blanket Hooks are sold in a two pack. Each hook works well to hold one fire blanket up by the exterior cover’s silver metal eyelet located at the top fold. I used them to hang up Striive Products Fire Blankets so that they are immediately ready to use in an emergency situation. They are made of stainless steel and consist of a 1-5/8 in. by 1-5/8 in. square plate, attached near the bottom center to a 15/16 in. long rod with a 90 degree angle tip pointing upwards. The stainless steel plate has a piece of 3M PE Foam adhesive stuck on the back that is 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in..Each hook holds one fire blanket by the exterior cover’s metal eyelet located at the top fold. After cleaning the surface well so that the backing tape would adhere well, I used one of these hooks to hang an emergency fire blanket on the side of my refrigerator a few feet away from an old range oven combo, just in case. These are great strong hooks to add to your emergency fire blanket kit so that they are easy to locate and utilize at a moment’s notice.

You get two, they come with blue film over the faceplate to protect the finish. 3M tape on rear. hook is sturdy yet not bulky, to allow getting the fire blanket off quickly. Hook is aligned perfectly perpendicular, and metal finish is excellent. I applied one hook to the inside of a kitchen cabinet lower door, next to our island stovetop. After removing the blue protective rim, I took the cabinet door off the hinges to allow for proper positioning and horizontal curing. I needn’t have bothered - the adhesive is VERY sticky and strong. holds a 39” x 39” Prepared Hero fire blanket (weight is 18.75 ounces) with no issue. Capable of holding a lot heavier sized blankets. Giving the other one to my daughter for her apartment. Recommend- this is an ideal match for the application, because the hook is specifically designed to hold securely without interfering with fast retrieval of the blanket. In contrast, hooks with curves or thickness to them will catch the blanket’s ’eyelet and delay its deployment

The blue is a protective film on the surface and not a permanent color. These hooks are designed to hang fire blankets but can be used for other things. We used it for a pair of fire blankets, one is now in the kitchen pantry. The other will go in the garage when it's no longer cold out there -- It's January. But I didn't have consent to film inside the pantry by she who must be obeyed. The back has a 3M PE Foam adhesive patch for installation. This can be attached to sealed or painted wood, plastic, tile, metal, etc. Clean the surface where it will be installed with isopropyl alcohol to ensure a good bond. install the hook and let the adhesive cure for at least 24 hours before adding the fire blanket's weight to it. It's very likely to fail if you put it on immediately. Bond strength of 3M PE Foam adhesive patches is at 90% in 24 hours -- I looked it up!This is a permanent adhesive, please keep that in mind when installing. It can be removed with heat from a hair dryer or heat gun, but do not attempt to pry it off without heating first -- you'll likely do some damage to the surface. It's certainly strong enough to let you pull on the fire blanket leads to release the blanket in an emergency. Also, the SUS304 stamp on the front is a Japanese standard of stainless steel (Steel Use Stainless 304) with is equivalent to the American standard SS304. This will resist rust and other corrosion. There's probably a regulation that requires it to be visibly stamped -- guessing there. It doesn't really take away from the aesthetic, it is holding a fire blanket.
