Revised...stopped working after a week. dont waste your money////The unit worked as advertised but needed to refit to my stove. The collar was to large requiring grinding or exchange new collor with exsisting. This requires a metric allen wench for new collar and Sae for existing not to mention sanding corrosion and ash from old to remove existing collar

This supposed Englander PU-CHA igniter comes with a shaft collar installed that is slightly larger than the original (by over 12 mils) and would not fit my older Englander 25-PDV stove. I had to use the shaft collar from the original igniter. It’s held on with a set screw and the collar loosened up easily enough – but the original igniter was bent and so I had to fiddle with it to actually get the collar off. I ended up peeling back the wire retainer (spot welded in three places) and after a little grinding – I removed the collar over the end with the wires.Next, the new igniter was slightly larger in diameter (by about 10 mils). I had to use a Dremel tool to sand the inside of the old shaft collar before it would actually slip onto this igniter. Finally – with the old collar in place on the new igniter, the set screw protrudes from the shaft collar just enough to prevent inserting the assembly into the hole in the stove (due to the igniter slightly large diameter). To be fair, this was a tight fit even on the original igniter. I ended up grinding down the top of the set screw just a bit to so the assembly would then fit.None of this was really too difficult if you’re handy with tools and have some patients. However – it would have been better if the darned thing just fit in there. Given that the product is described as a PU-CHA igniter, it should have just fit but it didn’t and replacing was more difficult than it should have been. The brand is “Englander”. But when I click the linked brand in the product description it takes me to a store selling air mattresses, not stove parts. Clearly this is another example off-brand knock-off part being sold on Amazon. The igniter did work once I finally got it installed and time will tell how durable it is. But I can only give it a neutral rating. Yes – it worked. But no, it didn’t fit out of the box, and no I don’t believe it’s an OEM part.

Just like the original, but the sleeve was too tight. Had to use the original.

Arrived as ordered, well packaged and very well made. The only thing was the collar was too large for my particular model stove so I just used the original collar from the old igniter, no problem.

It was a little longer than the stock igniter but it works fine. Good deal for the money

It works. However the wide round band was too large for the hole so I had to cut the bad end off the old igniter to use the band from it to put it back inside our pellet stove. It worked and saved us about $54 from the manufacturer.
