This pack of LED lights comes in a surprisingly small box, but it's well packaged and delivers as advertised. Each LED light comes with its own power supply box, which is pretty well made with a built-in electrical junction compartment, complete with knockouts for electrical cables, and a set of push-in wire splices. They install easily, with the help of the included cutting guide (it'd be nice to have more than one, in case it gets lost or worn after installing 20 or so lights...), and will fit most common suspended tile ceilings as well as drywall household ceilings. Very little clearance is required above, just enough for the power supply unit, so you can fit them in all sorts of areas. They're attractive and unobtrusive, mounting flush with the ceiling and including a peel-off plastic film to protect them from scratches and smudges during installation. They're quite bright, probably equivalent to a 75 or 100W incandescent lamp, and offer 5 choices of color temperature, from warm to cool white, with a few intermediate steps.

Let's skip right to some of the things that matter most about these recessed lights. And why this pack of Ensenior lights is probably the best investment for you to make.1. Different Lighting Choices. Many recessed lights only have one "temperature" of white light that they come in. Meaning no matter where you put them, they all have the exact same type of white lighting. These can be changed from 2700k to 5000k plus different temperatures in between. So you can choose 2700k for a soft "warm" light, which makes your bedroom more cozy. Or 5000k for a bright cool daylight white, which is excellent for a room that you do crafting in. This type of feature isn't available in all types of recessed lights.2. Bulk is Better. This entire bulk pack of 36 lights is actually about the same price as just six similar sized lights from a bigger name brand. But the same quality. It's better to get more lights than what you think you might need, and have extras.... than to come up short on a remodeling project because you simply didn't have enough lights to begin with. No different than the benefit of buying big at places like Sam's. Save money, plus less need to go back out to buy more of something.3. Easy Installation. Compared to many other brands of recessed lights that I've installed, I find these to be relatively easy and quick to install. No issues with fitting them into the areas that I cut into the ceiling.4. Pay for Themselves. This type of LED lighting that Ensenior uses happens to burn up far less electricity than any type of standard bulb. The money that you'll save on your electric bill, over time will cover the cost of these lights. And once they pay for themselves, you're basically just continuing to save money month after month. If you're after quality recessed lighting that works well, looks good, and properly lights up your home, you're in the right place. Buying them in bulk just makes it one of the smarter orders that you'll make this year. So definitely add these to your shopping cart when you're done with this review, you'll be glad you ordered them.

I'm writing the same review for both the 4" and 6" versions of these lights since they are essentially the same; I love both sizes and am very happy with the brand. For context, I've been redoing the lights in my house, and I've finally decided to go with one brand for my 4" and 6" lights so they look the same, have the same relative brightness, and have the same k-value where I want it all the same. So, after installing about a dozen so far, I can share the following:1. These look good. The face is nice, and each light comes with a plastic protective film over it for shipping.2. These are super easy to install. I like that each box has three push connectors, each for up to four wires.3. Despite having a very thin face, these have really good build quality. The only exception is that the blue tabs on the springs come off easily. The spring doesn't break, and the blue tab is probably more for installation ease, but more than one has popped on during installation. At first, I was re-installing them, but then I just said forget it and kept moving on since they don't impact the installation or post-installation functionality.4. The actual lights and the insulation ring that comes with each fit well for the openings I'm working with. I assume mine are standard-size openings, so I'm assuming they also fit just fine for most if not all, people.Given the number of lights you get, the ability to adjust the K-value to five different levels, the ease of installation, and the look, these are a great value for the money in my book.

Great lights. Easy to install. Work great with correct dimmer. Make sure to get a true 4" hole saw, not 4.25".

We're impressed with these new Ensenior ultra-thin recessed lights. Well designed, well built and well priced. As with other recessed LED lights we have used, these are so simple and easy to install, with smart features like multiple color temperatures from warm to bright white, easy snap-in install and simple electrical connection.Drawing only 12 watts, they are very efficient. The light from these LED recessed lamps is amazing. Much brighter than expected and they work well with our wall dimmer. We've compared these lights with others that cost as much as $30 each, but offer the same quality and features.Bravo, great lights -- amazing value.
