Installing a Projector Lamp
To install a projector lamp with the housing, just follow the easy steps below:
1. Make sure the projector is unplugged and sitting on a flat surface
2. Loosen the screw holding the projector lamp module cover in place and remove the panel
3. Unplug the old projector lamp and remove it from the projector
4. Plug the new projector lamp securely into place
5. Attach the panel back onto the projector and tighten the screw

It had the wrong electrical connection on it to connect in the projector. I had to cannibalize the old unit.

so I have been using PT-AE2000U for few years and I started getting message as replace bulb and I first order some other brand and didn't work well and then I ordered this one. My observation on this is that it is a good for the price and when it come to technical aspect, installation was good, fits well, screws are measured as per design and no issues with that. Though one thing I observed that when it turns on, the bulb picks up the pace slowly meaning at first I would say 5-7 seconds, you will feel that the colors are missing and then it slowly ramps up and then you will get to see all quality output including brightness, contrast, colors and all. It doesn't bother me but for some it might be. Overall it is a good product including the packaged well.
