Just what I needed for a Eureka 4870 GZ. There seems to be endless variations of this model distinguished by the two letter suffix.For those that want the tech specs of the original connector, see the attached picture. The white on black marking is easy to read. Unlike the original, the marking on this replacement is molded into the part and black on black. Virtually impossible to read without magnification and a high intensity light source angled across the marking. It was hard to take a picture of so I wrote it down, included it at the bottom of this review.Removal of the original connector was easy. It can be done from the outside without having to disassemble anything. I used a nylon spudge to gently work into the bottom of the switch, levered it out a bit and then used it as a fulcrum over which I used a flat head screw driver to complete the lift.The nylon spudge wasn't strong enough to fully disengage the switch. You can skip the spudge if you don't mind small gouges in the plastic housing the connector press fits into. I don't recommend doing this as the plastic is unyielding and may crack if too much pressure is used.The connectors are insulated female flag style. The insulation on both connectors was somewhat brittle, cracked on one of the connectors. I'd recommend replacing both. 16 gauge, size .032 x .250 worked well. You can find them in Amazon. If you have to use uninsulated connectors for availability reasons, I'd recommend using shrink sleeving. At a minimum, a mummy wrap of all exposed surfaces with electrical tape. Using uninsulated connectors is needlessly risky.Below is the marking on this replacement switch (black on black marking, hard to photograph). Picture of the original is attached to this review. Used on older Eurika mighty max ...parts for that were hard to fine. Wish it had an AMP rating. It was a good replacement.

Replaced broken switch on vacuum cleaner. Fit perfectly, worked perfectly, breathed new life into my cleaner!Update : 4 months later and switch no longer working ...not so great.

The original 21 year old switch broke on my Eureka model 4870 "The Boss" upright vacuum. This new switch was an exact replica of the original, so it was easy to install & works great!

Original switch got stuck in the "ON" position, (better than the off position) but it was inconvenient to keep unplugging the vacuum all the time. Ordered this switch. Easy to install. Working fine now.
