I bought this to use as a transfer pump. In all, I've used it 3 times with bleach. The first time was transferring 35 gallons, the second and third time were transferring just 1 gallon of bleach into my pump sprayer. Primed fine with about 6 feet of hose from my tank to the pump sprayers. Each time it was used it was rinsed thoroughly with water for no less than 5 minutes after each use. I tried using it the other day and it wouldn't prime, I shortened the hose, and it wouldn't prime. So, I had to use a hand pump to transfer my bleach.Very dissatisfied with a pump meant specifically for bleach only working a couple times and used properly at that.

Built a nice sprayer cart for spraying a mix of bleach and cleaner onto the outside area of a dog kennel to keep it from smelling like dog pee. Motor was kept dry and looks brand new but it doesn't pump unless you tap on the pressure sensor area, and then it only runs for 1-2 seconds. Total junk! It is about a week out of return policy so I have to go through the hassle of returning to the manufacturer, probably under my dime for shipping. Not worth the hassle. I'll try another brand.

When it works it works good but doesn’t always work,, or won’t come on,, not reliable,, I expected more from a name brand pump
