No noticable effect with two in a 10x10 room. No odor elimination noticed. Can't smell ions in the room. Appear to be too small to be of any use.

Didn't notice it made much difference in a hotel room, unless I put it right next to my head at night time. I don't think it worked the whole room.

I live in an RV and get all sorts of smells with pets, dander and dust. I heard good things about ionizers so figured I'd give these a try. I have to say I can't really tell a difference. Perhaps it is because I live in what is essentially an open space so I decided to place one at each end of my 38 ft RV ... maybe I need a 3rd? Be great to know the coverage area. Considering these don't have fan, I can't imagine they do much other than the immediate area in front of the outlet. Perhaps if I have a fan circulating the air more ... I'll give it a try.Will update if I see any difference but so far .... hmmmm

Tried it in basement too small for footage. Placed it in kitchen near cat food feeding area and worked just fine to clean up the air and stinky cat food smells. Will order more for small rooms, great price.

With every ionizer I've ever had, I could breath easier and could often smell ozone if left in a small room with the doors closed (seems like the only way to really test without the aid of expensive instrumentation). I've had this plugged in for a week and don't notice anything. I've tried plugging it in high up in the air. I've tried hitting it with a fan to circulate the air. I dunno, seems like a waste of money.But its easy to install and makes no noise! lol

Each unit of the two pack comes with a very nice drawstring bag in case you want to take the unit with you. The unit is compact with prongs that flip out. Very easy to install/use.I wish there were information on how much square footage a unit can be expected to cover. I put one unit in the master bedroom and one in the living room but since the living room opens into the kitchen and dining area, I don't really know how much coverage I'm getting. If I don't notice a big difference in air quality, is that because the unit is trying to deal with more air than intended? Who knows?Keep in mind that it gets rid of airborne contaminants by essentially creating a static charge in the particles which make them stick to the nearest surface. Hence, they are no longer in the air to breathe but it's not going to eliminate dust in the room. If anything, there's going to be an increase in stuff on furniture, floors, walls, etc. That's just the way ionizers work.For the price, these seem to be nice units but I don't have a way to empirically measure their effectiveness. Still, given my allergies to dust and mold, I'm happy to have them doing what they can to improve the air quality.

I have an office in an old building and sometimes the bathroom gets musty. This did the trick. I was really skeptical but this makes my office smell brand new. Smells like nothing at all. What a treat for only $20. Highly recommend this product. I actually might buy some for the house.

I didn't have any particularly smelly areas I wanted to test this on, so I wasn't sure how I would know if it works or not. I mostly wanted to keep the air fresh, but also read that this helps with dust, which I could certainly use some help with! This was a much cheaper option than many others I looked at, so I was pretty skeptical. I chose the corner of my house where I experience the most issues with dust. After a couple weeks of use I can say that I see a significant decrease in dust! There is still some, of course, but less is fantastic. I did notice an increase on the floor as well, which makes me think it is doing exactly what it said it would do. It pulled some dust out of the air and dropped it to my floor (not my tables, shelves, etc) for easy vacuuming.This device is super easy to use. It is pretty compact, but it does stick out about 2.5 inches, so keep that in mind if you have a very compact space. I usually never hear any noise from it, but I did notice that you can hear it if you get very close or if something is in front of the output spaces. The light blue light shines at all times so you know it is on. It don't feel like it is too bright, but it isn't really in a space where I would notice it. It comes with a nice little travel bag should you want to take it with you anywhere as well. I think this product is definitely worth a try!
