Nice little anchor for a small paddle boat that we have. The mushroom shape doesn't pull up all the weeds like other types.

I like this anchor a lot for our inflatable boat. Pair it with a nice clippable line and it works great in shallow water. It's well made, well coated, and drains/cleans easily. I think you'd need a lot of line for deep lake for this 8 lb weight to make a difference, though.
