Changes in length can be made while walking, without disconnecting from your dog, due to the lead’s is a simple but ingenious design. It can also be used as an emergency check collar can be used as a tether if you want to tie up your dog for a couple of minutes. The Vario 4 is made from EzyDog’s proprietary blend of super soft nylon webbing, making the lead comfortable to hold, durable and strong. It has also been finished with reflective webbing to improve visibility when walking in low light.

We bought two... one for a medium/large dog, often easy to find, but also a lighter version for our small/medium pup. Couldn't be happier that I found a coupler for both. To clarify, we use one coupler per pup, with one end attached to their harness back & the other to their collars or a harness front loop, depending on need. We seen too many dogs slip their collars when startled or over-excited. This assures good control and safety for the unexpected on trail or in town.

My dogs are similar ages & walking speeds, and they've happily used this coupler for a few years now. Until unfortunately, the clip got caught under the door and twisted, rendering it unusable. After having to use two separate leads for walks, I needed to replace it ASAP. Having looked into other options, I decided to go with the exact same one, it suits our needs and a bonus, prime delivery so I didn't have to struggle with dual leads for long.
