I installed this in a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp and it worked great. It was part of the Fromel mod. This allowed my amp to not be ear blasting loud on “2”.

This was the perfect Missing Link on my Fender Blues DeVille 212. Instead of going from a hair past one -volume zooms up to 12 sound-wise! Even though it is a tad past 1 on volume. Taking old pot out and inserting this new pot made the sound rise up evenly from 0 to 12 slowly and gently as you turn the volume knob!

This audio taper pot is a perfect replacement for the master volume linear taper pot in my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. It’s fits perfectly and tames the master volume.

I got one each for my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and Deville. It really makes the volume user friendly on these amps. There are plenty Youtube tutorials on installation, or use your friendly neighborhood amp tech!

Installed this on my Fender Blues Deluxe reissue clean channel volume, and now it’s more convenient to play the amp at room volumes, when the knob is at 5 it’s like the stock potentiometer at 2. Great mod

This did the trick. My hot rod deluxe had the standard super sensitive linear taper pot. I bought this audio taper pot to swap out. Now I can set the volume to a reasonable level. If you're attempting the swap, make sure you know what you're doing and have a way to remove the old solder.
