This was worth every penny..protects my fire pit from the rain...if it's burning just raise the legs...at the end of the burn I just put a logunder the corners to raise it a couples inches for the night. Haven't used it yet in the cooler weather with leg option, but I quite sure it will work...A+++

It looks and feels very sturdy, and I like the weight and look of it. However, watch out - none of the edges have been ground to a smooth edge - they are sharp. Once I smooth out the edges myself it should be fine, but the product description stated "...our fire pit burner cover has rounded edge that provides protection and avoids injuries..." Will update at a later date.

Missing part to handle which was a disappointment but I could still install the handle. The result was it just didn’t look as nice as what I paid for though still looked good enough and since it is a pain to return large items it works fine for me. The S.S. sheet is strong enough however they did not remove the peel coat from the stainless and there was a small dent in one of the flanges.

My wife and I enjoyed our first morning with 66 degrees temperatures this morning…. We placed the fire cover over the fire pit and the difference was almost a 10 to 12 degree difference between having it up and not! Tested with a thermal laser! When a breeze kicks up it does cut the heat down some but the temperature comes right back. Good product! Well done!!

This does exactly what I bought it for-deflecting heat for my firepit. An added bonus is it protects the pit from rain too. This folds down so you can store in tight spaces. Only negative and it's not the products fault is if you want to put the legs down it's filthy and unless you wear gloves you're going to get dirty!
