Buying a custom made lock is worth it and it shows with this item. I secure my Henry Golden Boy with this, and even with the lever in the down position, still slides into the bag I keep the rifle in. The vinyl/rubber coating prevents any scratching. We should all lock up our firearms and this works perfectly for this gun.

It worked like it said. BUT, I had to take off scope to properly go over the injection port. I wish someone would make a better trigger lock for the Henry model H001. This one is kind of bulky.

Nice concept, but it did not fit my Browning (cal. 308) lever action rifle. I needed about 1/8 inch more room to engage locking lever.

Hard to find a lever action lock in my area, this is a great buy the lock is odd took me a bit to get used to but is good
