Biometric Quick Unlock
This pistol safe captures high-resolution fingerprint images in less than 0.1 seconds through an upgraded semiconductor biometric fingerprint sensor. After unlocking, the Goplant pistol safe will automatically and quickly slide out. Internal blue LEDs make it easier to see firearms and other important items, and the light automatically turns off after a few seconds. It allows you to quickly take out your pistol and hide in a dark place.
Password Modification and Setting Method
the way to set the password is to open the cabinet. There is a white setting button corresponding to the bottom of the number 1. Press and hold for about 1 second, and after two beeps, you can set the PIN. Password or fingerprint. The fingerprint is recorded 3 times and the password is entered with 4 digits. After the setting is completed, turn off the pistol safety and turn it back on again, and the setting will be successful.

The foam cut out is not flexible enough for you to store the gun with an accessory attached. I have a laser scope attached and it is difficult to fit in the foam holder.

Setting this up was easy. I suggest reading the instructions first to make it easy. This has a spring opening and nicely pops open quickly when it senses my fingerprint or I key in my code. As with any safe, any thief could simply rip this off the wall if they want to take it and later attempt to destroy the safe for the contents, BUT, this type of gun safe is protection of your guns from little hands that belong to little people in your house. For this, this safe is great. Without modifying the foam insert, this would not hold a five round S&W revolver. (Mine got stuck when I inserted it and tried to open the safe.) However, I was able to put in my Beretta Px4 storm (or my Beretta 92FS) and a magazine into the available foam (without modification) and they fit just fine. There is no more room in there though. The battery compartment is nicely accessible on the outside. The hidden key slot is helpful should something happen to the biometric or keypad. The reset button is also nicely hidden and not accessible from the outside. The inner blue light aids in seeing the contents at night. $100 for this is absolutely reasonable.

I was unfamiliar with GoPlant as a brand so I wasn't sure what to expect with this gun safe. I needed a gun safe for a single handgun that I could keep in a convenient but somewhat concealed location, and this safe seemed like a good fit for that need. It has worked out well for me so far though I have not used all of its functions yet.This is a single-unit safe that is small and compact. With it, you can store a single gun and tuck the safe away in a less obvious location such as in a cabinet, under a bed or even in a night stand table that has a cabinet-sized door. It has a mounting bracket too, so it can be hung on a cabinet/shelf side or even a wall which makes it even easier to stash away, especially if there is unused space where this safe will fit.When placing the safe, whether permanently mounting it or temporarily placing it, it's important to ensure there is enough space for it and that nothing obstructs the door. This should be obvious but is still important to keep in mind.There are three ways to open this safe, though I have not tried all of them. It comes with a key which is good-to-have in most cases, though it is not necessarily the best option when in an emergency situation. It has a code that can be entered as well, and that is my preferred option. Finally, it has a fingerprint reader for the quickest access when there is no time to think, though to be honest I have not tried this option yet.The door pops open without catching and so far has been fine. Time will tell if I need to add a dot of oil to the rails occasionally, but that's not really a concern. It's more thinking about potential routine maintenance later.The safe feels solid and I have no concern about it being compromised without real effort. In the time it would take to get unauthorized access to the safe, there would be time to get away from the situation.So far I really have no complaints with this safe. It's a good offering, and it holds a single gun easily. I like the small profile which makes it very easy to put away and make inconspicuous too.
