Well packaged and well made item. Heavy duty. Accurate measurements. Better priced than what I could find in store. Would recommend for an open fireplace. My woodburning stove couldn't quite accommodate it. Will use somewhere else.

UPDATE - bought this grate Nov 30 ‘24. It’s now Jan 12 ‘25 so been using it a little over a month and the grate is already deteriorating on the underside. A grate should be made to withstand heat - this doesn’t seem to be the case. Super disappointed and would not recommend. The grate is perfect. Especially for the price. We’ve been looking for a durable grate but they were all very expensive and limited choice in size. Unless we wanted to pay for a customized one. Found this grate on amazon and are thoroughly impressed!

This one is a bit pricey for what you get but it is sturdy and you won't have to replace it any time soon.

I debated on a round one since the fire pit is round, but settled on this one because it cradles the wood so it doesn’t roll. It also helped lift the wood off the bottom of the pit which allows it to burn more efficiently. Very heavy duty! One of those purchases that is better than you expected!

Fire grate is heavy-duty and appears to be well constructed. I like that it has the extra feet in the middle of the grates, as many of the fireplace grates this size only have four support feet (one at each corner). The price was also very good.
