Knife seems very sharp but tip bent on first fish I cleaned. I didn't even cut through bone.Still seems like not bad knife after few fish not sure how long will keep good edge

The measurements and specs in the ad show an 8 inch blade. I received a 6 inch blade knife. I was wanting a 8 inch knife as I already have some 6 inch. Knife looks and feels OK otherwise

鯵など小型はもてあます、鰹など大型にはあと一歩たりないしかし良型ヒラメを捌くのにここまで丁度いいナイフは始めてでした。刃が柔らかいためクセがありますが手首が固すぎない人なら多分無駄なく3枚取りできます。

Product was shipped quickly. Knife is very sharp and fillets fish like cutting through hot butter. The sharpener does a great job also.

I have not yet used this knife but it seems sharp and flexible. Will use next month on fishing trip and may have to update this review.

May be a little hard to control to straight other than that seems to be a decent knife as sharp as my forschner and victronix now just have to see how long it stays sharp my old kershner stayed sharp for a long time. I always thought it had an internal sharpener built into the case I used that knife for at least 7 years gave it to a friend still being used

So far this is an excellent knife for me. I have been looking for a replacement for a similar one (not this brand) I had that broke. That one wasn’t full tang. I use it for fish of course, but I trim pork and beef with it as well. It is perfect for trimming beef tenderloin, where you need to peel the tendon like material off the meat in long strips. The thin blade gets under that tough gristle and slices under it as I pull it off leaving almost no meat wasted. I feel like all it needed was a honing stick to make it as sharp as necessary. The point is scary sharp. I bought another brand that was more expensive so I could compare it, returned it because I felt this was better, for substantially less money. Great value for me!

Most fillet knives out there are super flexible and don't maintain an edge due to being so thin, which typically is good for filleting small fish. I used fillet knives to cut up meat in the kitchen, including steak and chicken...sometimes frozen. This knife is sturdy all the way around and I LOVE the fact that the handle is thick rubber, I haven't had any fatigue yet from cutting the fat off of bulk chicken to vacuum freeze (about 40 breasts at once). My only complaint is that over time the tip might get dull from sliding the knife in and out of the sheath due to the way the sheath is designed in a sort of "criss-cross" pattern.
