When I do open mics (easier to get stage time if you don't ask to get paid) I carry a small bag with my gear. This just sits nicely between the handles and keeps my guitar visible and handy. Obviously not as stable as a Hercules (footprint makes the difference) but a fifth the cost and far easier to travel with. If I travelled with a sacthel for my gear, it could even fit inside it. Being plastic, it is not as durable as wood or metal, but lighter and plenty strong for its intended use.

This stand is very compact and sturdy, but also quite stylish. It easily fits in the backpack I use for my music, and it will accommodate either my acoustic guitar or my banjo.

Works great for acoustic guitar! Sturdy and lightweight. Folds up into a rectangle and fits easily into a gig bag or back pack. Great product! I wish they made one like this with and adjustable bottom to fit electric guitars and basses well.

Rubber "feet" keep falling off. Now one is lost and it's wobbly. Stand itself is good quality, just poor adhesive on bottom.

I needed a travel stand that would fit in my guitar bag & not take up much room. This one fit the bill for the price.My reasoning for only giving it 4 out of 5 stars is that in my picture you'll see the little rubber pads (to protect the guitar and floor) keep falling off ! It's nothing that a little glue gun won't fix, though. It is very light weight, but seems to hold my guitars when needed. as I said, because it is light weight, it is only intended when I travel.Update:1I have had this stand and have been taking it to weekly practices. I thought I could fix the 5 rubber pieces from falling off, and have already lost 2 of them. I am not happy with this stand & the quality, although you get what you pay for. The stand almost broke when someone accidentally stepped on it...( my guitar was with me at the time).. and eventually broke when someone else stepped on it... ( a lesson to keep it out of the way when not in use).I had only owned it for 3 weeks, so i took 3 stars away...UPDATE 2 : GREAT Customer Service!A representative from " FLANGER" (Name of the stand) contacted me on 7/11/19.They said the issue was fixed with the foot pads and offered to send me a new stand, free of charge. It arrived today in the mail, and I am looking forward to giving this puppy another chance.I gave it 4 stars, until I field test it8/3/19- field testing.. I play a lot on my screened in porch. I leave this out on the porch , so it is ready to hold my guitar at moments notice.... I never have to transport back and forth... it is fun and easy. :)Thank you, Flanger!

I keep an electric guitar in the living room and this is the perfect stand for that need as it is compact and very stable. The rubberized texture offers a good grip on the guitar but it doesn't leave any sticky residue on the finish. The price is very reasonable and I would not hesistate to purchase again.

I use this for a classical guitar, acoustic guitar and ukulele and it works great for each. Very small and portable, but sturdy enough to hold most strummed instruments. My ukulele is fits, but gets slightly wobbly if the shoulder strap gets stuck at the bottom, so just move the strap before you set it down. I threw this in my luggage to go halfway across the world on a trip and it held up great.
