I love it but I wish the nib opened a bit more

Flows well and lays a good solid line, also fits well in hand not akwardly.

I have a nice collection of fountain pens, and I have discovered over time that less expensive pens can be just as good as, if not better than, more expensive pens from well-known brands. I have another pen under the Fintanix brand and it is a good pen; I expected this one to be good based on that other pen. So far it has proven me right. This is a striking pen just to look at. This is a gold-colored pen with gold accents, even the nib. It looks like it has a matte finish, but it is actually glossy and feels pleasant to hold. It is modestly designed and except for the color does not do much to draw attention to itself. In the hand this pen is very well balanced, regardless of whether the cap is posted or not posted. It also has a little heft to it though I would stop short of calling this pen heavy. For me, the weight is just about right. If you need a really lightweight pen, this one might not be to your liking. This pen is a smooth operator when writing with it. It is one of the smoother pens I have used, though I can't exactly call it buttery smooth. I have pens that cost a lot more that do not write as smoothly as this one. And so far, this pen has not given me problems with hard starts, skips, or burps. It just works.Included in the package is the pen, a converter (in the pen already, a box of ink cartridges, and a pen sleeve to keep the pen clean.I am very happy with this pen and will use it in the office. It looks very nice, it is balanced well, and it writes better than many of my more expensive pens. It's also inexpensive so it won't be difficult to replace it if I lose it.

This product is a classic-style fountain pen. The pen comes equipped with a fine Iridium nib which suites me just fine. It also comes with five black and five blue ink cartridges along with an ink converter device. I really appreciate the inclusion of the ink converter device since I already have a bottle of ink to use. Finally, this pen comes with a “portable pen sleeve” that appears to probably be made of a polyurethane material.Since I have received this pen, I have filled it with ink and taken it for a test drive. The pen is well balanced and not too heavy, even when filled with ink. The feel of the nib on my cheap printer paper was very nice and the nib just seemed to float on the paper – very nice! That said, my handwriting is terrible! And I used to have such nice handwriting. Oh well, time takes its toll. When I ordered this item, I thought I had ordered the black and gold version. When I checked on when it was to be delivered from Amazon, I saw that it was the gold pen that was scheduled to be delivered. I must have made an error in selecting the pen to be sent. However, this pen is very nice looking. Yes, it is a gold color but it is understated and very nice in appearance. The size and proportions of the pen are near to perfect for me. The feel of the pen is excellent and the finish of the pen is very smooth. The inclusion of the pen sleeve is appreciated as is the ink converter device. Finally, the cost of this product is excellent especially when compared with the majority of other fountain pen offered for sale. Very nicely done.

I lOVE fountain pens and have quite the collection so I was excited to order this one. I have all sorts of fountain pens from very expensive to cheap ones that cost $9 - I have found that some of the reasonably priced ones are just as good as the very expensive. What I like:- the gold color is very nice in person, its not too gaudy or overpowering- the ink converter as I use bottled ink- the lid actually fits on the end of the pen when in use- good size length- writes very smoothly- doesn’t skip or tear the paper like some other fountain pens I have tried, including some expensive ones- good quality nib, pen and converterWhat I didn’t like:- it’s a fine point (which the description stated but I overlooked so that’s on me) I prefer medium or broad- the pen sleeve had a horrible smell and needed to be tossed- the ink cartridges that were included do not work (I usually use bottled ink but since they were included I wanted to try them out for my review but couldn’t since none of them work work)This is a lighter pen, so if you are like me and want a heavier pen this one probably is not going to work for you. My photo of the writing is used with Parker Quint bottled ink for reference.Overall this is a decent fountain pen, works as it should and I am very pleased with it. The price ($16.99 at time of review) is very reasonable for this pen. I would definitely recommend it.

There are a lot of Chinese-made fountain pens in this price range, and having had a lot of them, I can say that this is as good as you'll find in an F nib. I love the size, a very good feel in my large hands. I love the weight, not like a cheap Bic, but not like you're wielding a piece of stainless steel. I love the look, which is one of a much more expensive "luxury" pen. It even comes with a PU faux leather pen holder, which is a big plus for this compared to other nice-looking pens of the same price. Most importantly of all, I love how smoothly it writes. It's an appropriately "wet" nib, laying down a nice line as I'd expect for F, which will also depend on the paper. The feed (probably the common ebonite) will dry out in the open air if you haven't written for a minute, but that is my experience with every fountain pen, even my expensive ones.I didn't test the included ink cartridges, instead using my trusty Parker Quink, for a couple of reasons. As a pen collector, I like "preserving" all the original boxes, including not using ink cartridges and any extra converters. I also wanted to see how the pen would do with someone else's ink, in case it required the manufacturer's own special ink.
