With the prices of everything getting just stupid, I ordered this as a spare for the well pump.Note: some models (pro) have a large contactor. Square-D pressure switch is not rated to switch 3hp and the contacts can become welded shut.

I can buy a 2.2 kW(3 hp)three phase variable frequency drive here on amazon for $117 . It comes with soft start, and eliminates the need for a magnetic contactor. There are also all sort of cool control functions you can program.
