My BF had to check them out by flexing the sole to see if they met with his Tactical boot standards being that he is an Army VET. They flexed as the should and I was then able to try them on. I like the uniform tan color, they are good for wear we live, and the boots are very solid and feel nice on my feet. I wanted a good boot to go hiking in that was flexible yet supportive and I think these are a good choice for that.

I got these for my daughter to have here at my house as every time she comes here she is in dress shoes or sandals. She loves to walk with her daughters up and down the hillside but she can't in sandals or dress shoes. When she tried these on she loved them. The fit was perfect as most shoes pinch her toes. She says that walking up and down the hill is great and she doesnt feel fatigued afterwards.

These combat boots are very comfortable. I wore them out for lunch and errands. The material is smooth and flexable. They did not hurt my feet. The are nice for casual wear. These will be my go to for non work days.

These boots are my new favorite footwear for spring in Wisconsin. Sidewalks are still messy with melting snow, and these boots keep me safe from slips with the excellent grip sole. They are part canvas/suede, which makes them lightweight and breathable. Most importantly, they are crazy comfortable, not to mention how cute they are with jeans!

This is an initial review. I received these boots a few days ago, so I must wait to see how long they actually last. They have a six month warrantee. I think it's important to bear in mind that these are advertised at $59.99, so they are not high end hiking boots. That being said, they seem suitable quality for the price. The stitching is acceptable and the canvas components are decent material. The leather appears full grain if a little thin for my taste. The soles are solid and deep.I was initially concerned because they did not seem to breathe well, but after a half hour this was not an issue at all. I wear these for yard work, so I cannot comment on their hiking suitability. They have performed well for the past three days. I do wish there was more ankle support, but that is minor.If these only last a few months, I will return and update the review.

I ordered this boot as a work boot. It is actually a lightweight casual combat boot-style boot, single layer cloth construction with a direct-attach sole. It actually looks nice paired with a pair of jeans. It is not a true combat or work boot, however.The boots are flexible and comfortable, the sole is stiff enough to hike rough areas on a day hike or rambling about in the park, and there is a soft insert with arch support. The top and sides are lightweight ballistic cloth, unlined. The toe box is roomy, reinforced with leather and stiff enough to protect against accidental kicks, but not from a heavy object dropped on it.The bottom of the EVA sole is an aggressive pattern, non-slip for outdoors. The boots are stitched fabric construction and require no break-in period. The tongue is stitched inside to about 4" and keeps out sand and debris. I have not tested them in water.The advertisement says this is a work combat boot. I feel that the boot is a lightweight casual, good for outdoor fun, but not serious work. I recommend this boot to anyone needing a comfortable, nice looking boot, with protection a step above athletic shoes.

I got these hiking boots to replace my current pair. My current pair of hiking boots are an ugly shade of brown and super bulky. I really liked these black ones and they were super stylish! They have a great profile and I broke them in easily within 6 hours. They are not waterproof, but did the job for me on my local hiking trail. I love them and they are my new go to hiking boot in good weather!
