I was pretty excited to get this bag for my kids. They love punching stuff, but my heavy bag was too dense for them. This inflatable bag seemed like a good option for them.The top of the bag is inflatable while the bottom is filled with water to keep the bag stable. It is very durable and can take hits. We've used it for a week and there is no issue with seams.One thing that I do not care for is how light the top portion is. There is too much give. The bag flops over with the slightest jab, and doing a kick is even worse because you can't follow up with a punch or anything because the bag is already on the ground. You can time it as the bag comes back up, but then the kids might get into an unrealistic rhythm when hitting something that can actually fight back.Overall, I would say this is a great option for younger people, but for an adult, it is too soft and flimsy.

Ok, so a little back story. I work in a locked facility for folks suffering from pysch and addiction issues. Longer story short, they can't have traditional work out equipment as they can injure themselves by not using it appropriately or it can be used as a weapon.This bag is perfect for the. They can use it for aggression, stress relief, and fitness at the same time. It's soft enough that they can't injure themselves or others, and it can be packed up and stored easily when not in use.So far, we haven't had any issues with it leaking air, or getting torn up through use.Overall, I'd say that if you have folks that probably should be around traditional punching bags for one reason or another, this is a viable alternative for the money.

The instructions only talk about using the air pump. No mention of filling the base with water or sand, but I ended up doing it anyway, and then it was an okay punching bag. Wasn't as rigid as I'd like, though. If not filled with water at the base, it immediately falls over and is useless. With water, it'll bounce back. Again, I can't get it to hold that much tension when I Fill the top part with air, but it does allow for some punching practice.

So you're not going to get the durability you would from a canvas hanging bag, but this is a GREAT way to get a workout in a confined and temporary space. The bottom and top halves inflate separately, and with the INCLUDED inflator/deflator it only takes a minute or so each. Good quality PVC type material, and really good for when you don't have hand wraps or are trying something new that could leave you open to injury on a true "heavy bag". Includes two little boxing gloves that'll work fine for this application. Really comes into it's own when you put water in the base, dramatically increasing stability. The auto-deflate option lets you pack it up to go on the road or for a move. Highly functional and certainly does the job...

The punching bag moves around more than expected, which makes it less ideal for heavy training. The material is of average durability—not bad, but not as strong as I had hoped. It works well for general fitness and practice but doesn’t provide enough resistance for serious workouts. The setup was fairly simple, though it required some effort. On the plus side, the included gloves and air pump were high-quality, adding value to the purchase.
