These holds are a solid starter set for a beginner rock wall. The holds themselves are all of a similar shape, with some variety, but nothing larger or smaller or very uniquely shaped. They're a smooth, dense plastic material that is easy for young hands to grip. We had kids ranging from 40-80 pounds climbing with no issue.Some positive features:- the holds all use the same drilling distance, so you can use one to mark the holes.- some holds have clear sides for fingers, but even the alternate side has good space so they can be universally oriented.- all the hardware is included, holds, bolts, washers, and t-nuts- holds are pretty much solid, so there aren't spaces for bugs and things to nest into.Some areas for improvement:- all the hardware is loose in one bag, so you have to dump everything out to get to the washers that settle at the bottom.- the instructions are limited. It's not complicated to figure out, but you're on your own for troubleshooting. We found that drilling through, placing the bolt and threading just a bit onto the t-bolt first before tapping it into the wood was the best plan.- there's not a ton of variety, so if you're looking for little foot chips and larger smooth slopers, you won't find those here.For beginners or those building something to climb up to a fort or build skills, this is a great value!

I haven’t set these up yet, but they are sturdy enough to bear my 160lbs so they will do fine for children. All the hardware and tools needed (minus a power drill, appropriate drill bit size, and lots of wood) are included.

This is a great little set for kiddos. It takes a little ingenuity to put all the pieces together & in a way your kiddos can climb it well but still make it challenging for them but all in all it’s nice. It comes with all the mounting hardware so just get your drill and start hanging—although I HIGHLY recommend mapping everything out before drilling any wholes!

This FRUITEAM 25-piece rock climbing hold set is perfect for building a kids’ climbing wall. The holds are colorful, easy to grip, and come in a variety of shapes that keep things fun and engaging for younger climbers.They’re sturdy enough for children and light use, but I wouldn’t recommend them for serious adult climbing. For a backyard playset or indoor wall for kids, though, they’re more than sufficient and offer great value.Overall, a solid, reliable set for family fun—just right for the little climbers in your life!

I tested a few out and they work and feel fine. I plan to mount a large number of them for the kids to climb a section of the wall.
