Please be attention:
- Always clean the cover and the outside and inside tank, replace the old strainer and fuel pipe.
- Replace the old fuel with clean standard fuel which you can get from the gas station.
- Vehicle should be filed with full tank fuel before parking for a certain long time.
- Replace the filter on a regular basis.

Replaced the original fuel pump. On my 2000 F150. With this one.So far have not had any issues after 800 miles.I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement.It is a pain to install as you have two options.One lower the fuel tank. Which is what I did after removing fuel from the tank.Number two is to remove the bed of the truck.Unfortunately I didn’t have enough people to assist with that option.I’d priced a replacement at the local parts stores.Which ran between $200-300.For what appears to be the same pump.

Fuel Gauge was accurate.One bolt was missing for the ground wire inside that connects for the Gauge. So check and/or tighten all bolts inside before installation.

I have a 2001 F150 that I bought new. I replaced the original fuel pump with a OEM pump in 2009. About 6 months ago I had to replace my camshaft synchronizer, and it seemed right after that my truck developed a stumble on take off. I tried cleaning the throttle body, and that didn't help. I took to driving it real easy on that off to avoid the stumble. Well my truck finally died, and it was time for another fuel. Took about an hour to change, and my truck fired right up, and my stumble on take off was gone. I also notice an increase in power. I guess over time I had not noticed the loss in power. This fuel pump was delivered early, installed with no problems and fixed two concerns for about half the price I paid for the OEM pump I bought in 2009.

I was very impressed with the quality of the pump and the price. It arrived 1 day earlier than expected, it was a perfect fit. The only thing I noticed, my fuel gauge is off about an eighth according to my old pump. the truck had 1/4 tank of gas (just in case I had to drop the tank) but I removed the bed instead. When I installed the new pump it showed between a 1/8 and 1/4. Still to my advantage. I am so happy it hasn't run this good in quite awhile, 147,700.5 miles and going strong. I would highly recommend this pump, east to install complete with everything in the box Frankie L Robinson
